Yes, you guessed it -- I went to see the TDK trailer 2x again. I think the poor theatre workers are getting just a little bit freaked out by me, because when I walked out this time they all kind of looked at me nervously and huddled together just a bit. Poor babies, I felt rather sorry for them. Otoh, since I don't actually *do* anything, just buy my ticket, watch the trailer and then leave, it leaves them at a loss. Plus I always make sure to sit at the back of the theatre, well away from other people. (There are probably 100 seats or better, and the most I've seen in there is about 30. So everyone is spread out in small groups.)

No other news per se. The weather was nice *again*, just gorgeous and lovely. Hopefully it will be nice tomorrow so I can get something done for a change (hitting the movies for the TDK trailer has not been conductive to getting things done.)

Time for me to go and try and sleep some more. ::considers:: Or maybe I will kill a few more Elves...

Not to worry, I love the Firstborn too much to do any real harm. It only happens when writing about Helm's Deep or something similar.

"A little fight in ya, I like that."

They only run TDK for "10,000 BC" and I suffered through that once already.

The only film Emmerich has done that I can even half-way tolerate is "The Day After Tomorrow" and that is only because of Jake.

I think I saw the bank robbery one once on U-t00b but it took forever to load and didn't play very good. I've never seen it since, just this one.

hm,i saw it before I Am Legend in imax.heh.it's weird that no one talks about it.at least i never heard it before and after seeing.

Maybe most people aren't able to get to an IMAX facility? Most IMAX's get an "exclusive right" and no other IMAX's can be built within a 500 mile radius. I know this because one of the guys I used to date worked on an IMAX where I live, and the museum didn't want to cough up the extra mil (iirc) to guarantee exclusivity. No big surprise, a few years later Omaha built an IMAX and there it went. It's now called a SuperScreen and it shows mostly museum-oriented films but also other regular films.

hm can it be IMAX exclusive?cause they projected the whole screen(everyone said "whoa" at first.lol).but not for the film, the film was widescreen.but still much bigger than usual.

Hmmmm, I'm not sure if trailers are IMAX exclusive or not. It might be but I couldn't be sure. Maybe you were one of the lucky ones in a test audience screening for the bank trailer?
