The Return of the Kitty-Cats

la_samtyrGood news -- the operations all went fine, their feline leukemia tests were all *negative* -- oh Yay!! :)
And now, they are all back home and settling down. Three of them (Sister, Daughter and Baby) are locked in my spare bedroom -- they mostly want out but they need to stay quiet, which will not happen if they have free run of the house. In addition to trying to keep them *off* of the porch, I already have Lucky and LeeAnn to contend with, and Lucky is still *very* jealous of MamaKitty -- and when they are fussing at each other, LeeAnn decides to help matters and joins in with barking and running around like a mad creature. (Why yes, I was a circus performer in a past life -- how did you ever guess?) And to really put the icing on the cake -- MamaKitty, dear sweet MamaKitty -- is really An *Instigator* at heart. [Yet another reason why the three younger ones are in the spare bedroom -- MamaKitty just gets up, walks around... and sure enough, they're all zooming around the house, with MamaKitty just strutting around looking so damned *pleased* with herself because she *knows* the others will get tossed on the porch while she herself is immune from such treatment. *Instigator*, I tell you! And she knows it, and when she looks at me, she knows that I know it as well!!!] Lucky is above such behavior, as befits The Fur Queen and... just yeah.
In other news, the wind is supposed to pick up around 11:30 pm - midnight. It looks as if we are going to be in the middle of a big, fast moving storm and while we might get a little bit of snow, it's really the wind that will be bad.
