We're Off To See The Vet
Dec. 20th, 2007 06:43 amYeah, this is probably one of the *earliest* posts I'll ever make. All of the kitties are in a carrier, and have been since last night. *sigh* I know this is the right thing to do but they all look at me with those huge sad eyes: "What are you doing to me? Why are you doing this to me? Was I bad? Do you hate me? What is going to happen to me?"
I know; I'm far too emotionally tied up with this. I am going to be so glad to get this done, and so relieved when they are back home. I caught them by allowing them in the house, so they knew something was up. They normally zoom in and I chase them down and toss them on the porch as soon as I can get a grip. Luckily they're essentially house cats who are indoor/outdoor cats and *not* ferals. But still, I feel so incredibly, well, *guilty*. And that's silly because this is for the best; they'll be much healthier and happier overall. But still... the last one I grabbed was MamaKitty, who was enjoying a perfectly nice nap when I got her and put her in the carrier. (Luckily I have lots of very small carriers, just right for transporting small furbeings.)
Ok, we're off so I will update later on.
