Ok, online for a few. So, nothing of major importance, just some rambling. As you can tell, my little red car made it back from my skating lesson ok. How much longer I can keep doing this, I have no idea. It's a 200 mile roundtrip for me and w/gas over $2.?? per gallon, it's not really cost effective. No clue as to what to do about that, short of moving. And if I move, I want it to be out of state. But not in the winter! =(

Latest dish on the local puppies: Seems they broke curfew the other night, so the coach skated 'em at 5 am. Oh my.

I seriously need my own skates. Size 8. I just *hate* putting my feet in rental skates w/o socks, but even hose seems to make my toes cramp. On the plus side, I can now creep all the way to the second blue line by hanging onto the wall. Yay me. I'll get some confidence eventually. Once I get those first falls over with and get back up... I think that's part of the problem. I know I'm going to fall and I'm scared of falling. See, I never was afraid of falling off a horse (granted, I was never seriously hurt in a fall from a horse either) because I fell off my first horse at age 2 or 3, and I can remember so clearly the horse placing its hooves on either side of my head and yet I wasn't hurt one bit. My mom and grandma and assorted adult relatives who were watching were totally freaked, but all I wanted to do was ride again. So, my theory is: the earlier the falls, the better--namely because as a little kid you don't have sense enough to be scared when you fall. Also, you don't think about it and imagine worst-case scenarios. You fall down and you get back up. Simple. All I need to do is turn back time.

Well, off to check on a few things. Back later on.
