I am getting ready to go and see "Beowulf" today. It's actually kinda nice out and I want to go and see it while it's still playing in the theatre. There's something about the silver screen, you know, that just... yeah. Plus it's at the downtown theatre, which is always more fun to be at. It's an older building, still has some of the Art Deco (Noveau ?) parts to it while the other is just a modern three-plex. So yeah, even though I technically *don't* have the money I'm going to go anyway.

Donna called this morning and wanted to talk. I am hoping that she gets a computer *soon*, I kinda think she will now. It would be so much easier for me to talk to her online, especially since it wouldn't kill my phone minutes. I managed to cut her short by saying the battery was low (Yes I know--it was a lie but I had less than a hour when she called, now I only have 45 minutes, so yeah, I had to try and salvage what I could until Dec. 1st or thereabouts.)

Back later on.

What did you think of "Beowulf"? I haven't seen it myself, but according to those I've talked to that watched the movie, they weren't crazy about it.

It's not bad, it was "fun" more than good--which sounds kinda weird but still... It was one of those CGI films though, not "real" actors which was a little off-putting for me. The special effects were great though, very cool indeed. Looking back, I probably should have waited to see it on dvd but but I had a fun day out, so it's all good. :)
