la_samtyrNot that there's a whole lot of it, but still. Let's see...
1) Last night my cousin Donna called and talked. And talked. *SIGH* It would have been fine if (a) she had decent cell phone reception and (b) that I had something besides a prepaid cellphone. I wish she would get a computer! On my computer I can communicate worldwide, as long as I want, no restrictions except for remembering the time zones. (Gee, I bet you never would have guessed, huh?) Anyway, she doesn't talk about much of anything except for movies and stuff. I remember when we used to talk about everything, never realizing that she is probably the one who was busy narcing me off to my family. (Yes, I was that clueless.) So now I really don't say very much, I sure as hell never talk to her about anything important. It's just as well. At least w/ occasional phone calls I know she's alive and well (sobriety is an altogether different issue) because I used to be fully convinced that one day I would see her unsolved murder being discussed on AMW or a similar show.

2) Gas is now $3.20 here. I filled the tank yesterday before it went up and now I have exactly one full tank left to last me who knows how long. Meh.
3) I am still looking for a job, nothing yet. Damn. I seem to be totally unhireable. I hate the idea of fast food or the Evil Empire but it's not looking as if I'll get anything else. Oh yeah, I had to go to college and get a degree, and for what? Grrrrrr.
4) My last job owes me almost $1200 and are just being damned shitty about paying. I'll probably end up in court, which means the lawyer will eat my paycheck. Meh again.

I know you can go though Yahoo, and there's Skype which is what a lot of podcasters are using. Just google "internet phone" and see what comes up.
