A Question for Brokie Sibs

Since I am *still* having modem issues, do any of my Brokie sibs know exactly how long "Going Home" will be around? I have almost all of the fics saved but not all. It's awkward working against an unknown deadline since the modem can be down w/o giving any indication until the pages starts timing out. And I really, *really* want to make sure I have it all saved. Thanks in advance.

My computer doesn't have MS Word, but I can save it as a Wordpad doc. Or I could just make you a nice tidy html file.

I have everything available thus far saved. If you let me know when the final chaps are up I can add those. :)

Wordpad would be great. Html works too but it's harder for me to read.

Hi, samtyr. It looks like boltonia has you covered, but as a backup... Since Helen specifically said it was fine to share her stories, if you end up missing anything I can email it to you.

Not that I can find the recent entry in which she said it was ok to save and share everything; I may have saved that too. And I requested emails when she updates any of her journals, and received an email from 6:56am PDT today that under_wyo_skies had updated their journal, and the "view the entry" link gets me "Error, No Such Entry" so I have no idea what that was.

She said the next chapter of Going Home would be the last, that it would be instead of the final few chapters she had originally planned, but didn't say when. She said she would delete her journals, but didn't say when. I got a 7:03am email that redlining_it had posted a new entry, but when I tried to go to it, it says that journal is deleted.

This is all very sad. I especially wanted to see more of Lotus Blossom and Twilight, regardless that they were going non-BbM.

I'm pretty sure I have everything saved, and I can be reached by email at jackien1968 at yahoo dot com.

I really hope that when she does post the last chapter of Going Home, she gives us at least a day-and-a-half to find out it's up and save it.

'Kay. Give me a week or two to get all of the batches off to you. School starts Thursday and I'm trying to not flunk out of college on the cusp of graduating and trying to get a professor and an advisor to answer me on some way-urgent stuff.

I may not send you the old versions of everything she put up twice, especially if I'm pretty sure all she did was organize the chapters in more-straightforward chunks.

Do you want her 3 texas_bluebird drabbles? She said they were dark and hoo boy they certainly are; no darker, I suppose, than the 1 chapter of Twilight.
