All About Today

I am just so tired from stress I feel utterly knackered. And yet I don't feel bad per se, my check-up on Wednesday was one of the best I have had in years. ::sigh:: So go figure. The only thing I can think of is that the change in weather is a partial cause -- I think I am trying to go into hibernation mode because it is so chilly. I mean, *damn*.

I put some new "green" (energy-efficient) light bulbs in the living room ceiling after the other ones finally burnt out. We'll see how long they last -- it's supposed to be for five years, so let the countdown begin.

I have loads of laundry to do but since it turned unexpectedly cold, I haven't done them yet. If next week isn't warmer I will have to break down and go to a laundry mat so I can use the dryers. Most of what I have is super-heavy winter quilts and things that take up an entire washer by themselves. As far as clothing goes, I can manage ok for a little while longer. Plenty of jeans, sweats and hoodies to get by with for another couple of weeks if need be, but I really want to get my summer stuff washed and put away. It's not going to be getting *that* much warmer, or for that much longer.

I am woefully behind on writing letters, especially my letter to K. No idea why, it's shameful of me but again, with stress I just shut down and do nothing. Finally heard back from Kristy B.; she's at a new snail addy and my b'day card to her was late getting there. But she did get it at last, and she loves the pic of LeeAnn. :)

No other news. The game is on tv so I have the tv turned off. Time to either try and work on fic or go to bed. Probably the later. Niters all.
