Today's Update
May. 4th, 2007 08:16 pmFirst, the A-im. I have no more A-im. It got screwed up when I had to switch 'puters again and now I can't even get a new screenname to work right. So I am not ignoring or avoiding anyone, I just am unable to comunicate the way I usually do.
I had to take the 2000 in to the shop, where it promptly turned on for the guy. I went ahead and left it though because when it "crashed" on me, I simply could not get it back on, period. *SIGH* I really intended to take the Me to the shop but that is on hold for now. But the Me is definitely next in line, no more putting it off.
I did some yard clean-up @ S. Lincoln and met one of the neighbor ladies. Um, yeah. I introduced myself as a "lady gopher" who knew no-thing about what was going on, just that I was supposed to be clearing out some brush. She is not happy about a tree that is dropping branches in her backyard and other assorted cheerful thoughts she shared with me (the house needs to be torn down, it's an eyesore). I have to admit that Jess and Colleen probably did not help matters any while they lived there nor did the fact that the house has been in legal limbo for two years. Hopefully once the yard gets cleaned up, a new paint job and a few other things of that sort will lead to better feeling or at least tolerance. Right now I will be happy to settle for tolerance. It also seems that the City of Hastings has been mowing the lawn for the last two years and is just now getting around to filing *whatever* with the city attourney so they can get paid. Just *why* the city has waited so long in the first place is beyond me but that is why I have a lawyer, to take care of this sort of thing.
No other news, other than I need some more serious sleep.
