We Are Tired

Oh yes, we are definitely tired today. LeeAnn did not sleep *at all* last night, instead she was busy hanging off the foot of the bed, guarding me against the baby "meeses" (kittens to us normal folk). Arrrgh! And for the record, the *kittens* were freakin' *noisy* little stinkers last night, almost constantly squeaking and mewling to be warm and fed, I guess, with the mamas purring like outboard motors and making "chirring" sounds at the babies. They weren't that loud but they were loud enough and kept LeeAnn from settling down for more than ten seconds at a time which kept me awake. To top everything off, Lucky laid on my stomach and purred and licked my arms after first giving me the patented Scowl of Disapproval.

And so it went. All. Night. Long.

I need a nap.
