New Computer! :)

Well, ok not new but used; still very nice though. It's a Dell Inspiron 3500, another laptop (Windows 2000.) It will take some getting used to, though. Only one USB port for a keychain drive and the modem port is odd, too. Also the floppy/cd drives are detachable/interchangeable. Like I said, odd. Plus only a "C" drive, no "D" drive like I am used to. And no mouse! I keep reaching for the mouse! I think I might have to get one, just because I am so spoiled--if it takes an old-fashioned plug-in style, I am in luck. Otherwise I will have to buy a new one. Oh yeah, it took me about 20 minutes to set up a new connection this morning; the poor techie probably realised after 2 seconds that he was dealing with someone who is barely computer literate. But this is up and running now so I will be around. I have yet to figure out the Y-im and A-im passwords though. Like I said, I will probbably be using new ones. I'm going to see if I can get the lj-talk to work. If there are no storms tonight, I might be online. Otherwise, I am going to go to sleep *early*!
