Update, Again

Talked to Mom this morning and she probably won't be coming home today. Still very hoarse and weak. She said one nurse told her she was breathing fine while another said that she wasn't. :/ So who knows? Today is Columbus Day; no mail and no banks/gov't. buildings open. I don't know if I will go up today or not. I have to consider the gas prices--they keep going up up up and even though the Omni is the easiest on gas, a daily commute of 40 miles still uses it fast. At about $20/tank, it adds up--and fast! I still need to eat breakfast and unclog the phone line, so I'll be back. Oh, and another thing---I couldn't pay *my* phone bill, so I will probably get disconnected today. :( Damn, and it was so handy too! But I could only pay one of them and I had to keep Mom's up or "everyone" would be calling her and saying "Do you know your phone's been disconnected?" That was/is one scenario I don't need, period. Ah well.. bbl...
