la_samtyrWell, the snow didn't last (it melted pretty quick) but it's heavy winds out--a lot of wind advisories until about 6pm. Here it's averaging around 30mph; in Omaha, it is a blizzard complete w/whiteout conditions. Lincoln isn't much better. And I-80 is shut down from York on east, so a lot of the local schools that qualified for the state basketball tourney might have to forfeit. *sigh* Damn, that would suck bigtime. Weird, 'cause I thought they would have gone down yesterday ahead of the storm.
