I have my little window a/c back! Yay!!!

Interesting thing to know about them: if the fan is making a "weird, loud noise" and the repairman has just finished helping you put it back, then you *might* need to loosen the screws on the case just a hair.

Seriously. I'm not joking. This literally happened to me, tonight. Less than ten minutes ago. I'm just glad the repairman hadn't left and could hear the noise for himself so I didn't have to call him back. Yes, it really was that loud. But apparently, the case was just that little bit too tight that it made one heck of a noise.

As for the question -- Why?

The only answer is: Because. (I know. I know. It makes no sense. ::shrugs:: Go figure eh?)
