Today's News and Weather Report
Jul. 15th, 2011 08:46 pmIt rained *very early* this morning. Just a small shower but since I had my car window down, it got wet. *le sigh* It wasn't supposed to rain though. And then -- it turned hot. And humid. Heat index is running over 105 F. I hate to think what my a/c bill be this time. (My electric bill was about double when I opened it today. *le thud*) And so, we are under heat warning advisory until next Wednesday for sure, if not until even *next weekend*! GAH!!!
Luckily, some work was started on the roof anyway. And yes, it should be very interesting to see how fast things get done in this crazy heat. But starting is good. Very very good. However, *finishing the roof* will be even Better!!
I haven't seen HP yet but I am hoping to sometime next week when the crowds are a little less. Also *maybe* the temps will drop enough to that I can actually drive -- because my car has no a/c, and driving even a very short distance in this heat is just miserable.
As for my kitteh and her medicine, she is still not very happy about it but as she gets her gooshy food right after, she is tolerating it fairly well.
And now, I hear thunder. More rain, I suppose. Or not. Perfect for storms to brew.
Back later on.
