Today's News

But first, I'll start with yesterday. Yesterday I managed to pay my car insurance, renew my car liscense at the courthouse, get the porch window from CC Lumber and sent off the checks to pay the plumbing bill and my meds bill. Also I got groceries and some pet supplies. (Out of all the things I am grateful for, cheap cat litter is just about top of the list. Seriously.) Oh yeah, and I got a money order so I could pay my house insurance too. Best of all, since I had *money*, I was able to send Sue's Christmas package off. Late I know (sorry!) but with luck it will arrive more or less on time. So last night was spent vegging out in front of the tv, watching LotR 3 on tv, since I probably will be getting rid of the cable tv part sometime next month. I like it but I *need* my Internet access, since I have no telephone per se except my cell phone, and that costs me ten cents/minute. Expensive yes but only when I have to use it every day for extended periods of time. It was only ever meant for occassional use, not as a replacement for a regular phone.
