Yes, I Do Have A Cold. (Also A Squick Warning About Pens!)

Yup, for real. No major yuck or ick factor for me, just a lot of coughing and sneezing. I have a headache and since I am already having migraines, I do not feel well. I wish I did! I am living on liquids and soft food so that I don't choke myself eating while trying to ignore the begging eyes that are counting every mouthful. *sigh* The kitties --and dog-- are all happy and content.
**Boring stuff about bills to follow, so be warned.
Tonight I am attempting to balance my checkbook to make sure that I can get the last big bills paid; car insurance, gas bill, *other* insurance, etc. I *think* I will have enough; I'm just not sure. I suppose I could wait until next Tuesday but I hate to put things off any more than they are. I simply *have* to pay the *other* insurance and the gas bill. I suppose I could just make monthly payments on my car insurance for a little bit. But I can't forget to pay up my medicine bill either. Though I could just wait and send that check out next Friday and buy myself a little more time.
***Now for a little more whining...
It wouldn't be quite so bad if I wasn't constantly fighting with myself to stay and not go to Denver to see 'Brokeback Mountain.' I want to see it so fucking bad! Maybe if I juggle the figures a bit more... I just have to see this movie on the big screen, I JUST HAVE TO!!!! Fuuny thing is, I am so focussed on seeing BBM that I am like totally uninterested in any oher movie that might normally snag my interest.

Of course, I would like to see an Avs game too but I would rather wait until next spring for that. Preferably one aganist the Wings or Canucks or Yotes. It really pisses me off that the Pens won't be coming any closer than St. Louis. ::sulks:: Irregardless of what I might think about StK, I want to see him for myself. ::shakes head:: I can't believe that he has an "A." That has given rise me thinking about all sorts of nasty scenarios that center around StK sleeping his way to the top (and we all know who/what that means don't we?). Or maybe StK got the "A" to help keep his mouth shut? Maybe this is what has triggered #66's irregular hearbeat? ::::SHUDDERS:::: Ok, I think I have found a squick factor here. Sorry! But I did warn you. I even made sure to put it in the header (?) before I posted this.
