Cold Today. Again.

Not much new happening here. I need to send the last box but I was kinda lazy today. I think--*know* that I have a cold started. Some people paid a little bit of what they owe me but it's not nearly enough. **sigh** It never is, is it? So much for me getting to Denver (Or better yet, V-City) to see 'Brokeback Mountain', even though it looks as if it will be playing there until New Years or so. I mean, yeah, technically I *have* the money but if I spend it, I won't have enough for my gas bill or my insurance or... I hate being so fucking broke. I never was this damned broke before. I hate it!! HATE!!! IT!!! I wouldn't *be* this broke if my idiot brother had only paid me like he should have. Ok, enough ranting. Sorry about that. My only hope now is for it to hit Omaha/Lincoln sometime next year. As far as family prezzies go, all I need to do is get something for my aunt and uncle. Not sure what it will be yet; just as long as it's *something*. I wish I could get out of going there but I'm stuck and I just have to make the best of it. Maybe they'll have some decent movies for Christmas? That would help some. Just have to wait and see I guess. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel motivated enough to tear the skanky old refrigerator my brother hauled in here *outside* and be rid of it. I need that space because I think one of the mom-cats on the porch is going to have a litter soon, and I want her inside where it will be marginally warmer. I've got a couple of really huge crates that will hold a litter box so that I can keep her little family from being eaten by the local toms. I know, I know. I can hear the neighbors now. "You're bringing more *cats* inside?!? Are you stupid or what?" ::shrugs:: Let 'em talk, they don't live here, I do. My house is clean, if a bit well-furred from shedding creatures and beyond that, it's not an issue. The litter boxes are cleaned 2x/day and my little dog is house-trained. What else is there? Oh yeah, the kitchen sink plumbing that isn't quite fixed yet. Meh. Life goes on.
