Happy Thanksgiving Day Everyone!

Yes, I'm awake. Getting ready to clean up and *hoping* that I'm not really coming down w/a cold. It's about time for my bath; if only my washing machine hadn't messed up so that I would have a selection of clean clothes! Meh. Oh, don't get me wrong--I've got clean clothes, just nothing *nice*--it's all work clothes and some of those are not in good shape. Face it, they're overdue for being tossed. All the tops I have that are really nice to wear are my hockey sweaters! Patty's Avs sweater, Oatesie's Bruins and Caps sweaters and Cheli's Hawks sweater. ::facepalm:: I wonder if I dare wear the Hawks one, at least it would be in keeping w/the holiday theme. Or not. My family would never "get" the connection. Otoh, it's a *sweater*. Anything gets spilled on it, it's gonna be a bitch to clean and not wreck. ::moans:: And it's the white sweater at that! I always spill on white! Always! *SIGH* FWIW, I promise to update w/my final wardrobe decision.

Time For Lunch

Ok, just heading out now. As for my wardrobe update--I did manage to find a clean t-shirt w/the WB toons on it. Paired w/a long-sleeved blue sweater, I'm good. Needless to say, I'm wearing jeans. Now for my "good" sneakers and I'm off. Truly, this is the house of haute coture. XD So everyone have a good T'day and I'll be back online sometime this evening.

Home At Last

Well, things went good. Got to talk to Paul about 'puters and stuff. Tomorrow we are going to Kearney to try out a new Middle Eastern restaurant. If not that, then a Chinese place. I'm not sure if I can talk him into going to the Storm hockey game--keep your fingers crossed for me! Charlene called and I got to talk to her for a few minutes; then I called Dale back (I had missed his call) and talked to him as well. Not much other news, so I'm probably going to sleep early tonight.

No more OT for the time being but I'm sure there will be in the future. Stay tuned.
