la_samtyrIt's cold outside. *Damned* cold, w/below zero wind chills. Brrrr! Cold like this sends me into hibernation mode. Oh well.
There are several towns in the area w/o power and having to rely on generators. Holdredge is one of the hardest hit, all power lines going into town are down for a 15-20 radius. And it's not just a few key poles or transformers but *every* *single* *one*.
In other news, some enterprising people from Colorado are selling some of their snow on eBay. Seriously. ::marvels:: I need to tell my cousin, he's in Arvada and he could use a little extra money.
And now, I am off to settle in and watch tv for a change.
