Today Is... *Saturday*
Nov. 25th, 2006 10:02 pmFor some reason, I keep thinking today is Sunday. Probably due to the 4-day T'Day weekend--big surprise, eh? I haven't done any holiday shopping yet. I don't have many people to buy for now and the ones I do have, I already bought their prezzies ahead of time. Go me. Now I just have to package them and get them sent. Next project, Christmas cards. That won't be too hard either since I don't have very many to send. I do a lot of e-cards for most of my cousins now. Yes, I'm lazy. But at least the e-cards will be early if nothing else. :)
It was nice today, a little cooler but not bad. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice again so I'd better see if I can scrounge up any more laundry.
Baked cookies so I would have some sort of gift for my aunt (today was b'day #93 for her), who is still in hospital. I probably won't bake much more because the oven seems to be hotter than usual; the cookies got almost burnt but not quite. Maybe if I just turn it down a little? We'll see, I guess. When my mom and grandma were alive, we baked all the time. Grandma was always baking ahead, especially between Thanksgiving and New Years, because *her* birthday was 26 December (which meant loads of people that had to be fed, usually a minimum of 4 meals if not more.)
Ok, time for some sleep. Got some furniture to move tomorrow so it's going to be a long day.
