Oh, those were fabulous to watch. DH has the Gretsky rookie card, but I have the Lemieux. LOL He was always phenomenal to watch on the ice. So smooth, so totally aware of what he was doing at every stroke of his skates and stick. Yippee! Thanks for passing it along!

I'm so glad you enjoyed those lovely clips. They're two of my personal favorites, though it was very hard to choose. You can always tell the great ones by how easy they make it look -- when it is anything but, lol.
Oh, great analysis and fun to watch. I have to agree with him about Fleury. I wasn't happy about him being brought in and suddenly taking over everything. He's aging and that's not good in a goalie. But, he's what we've got now that Talbot left too, so he'd just better step into the crease and perform. It should be a fun season. I subscribed, of course. The guy knows his hockey much better than I do (and that man-cave is AWESOME!). I know I saw a North Stars jersey in that rack.
Yeah, he has *loads* of jerseys! You definitely saw a North Stars jersey there! :) Whalers too. He also has a Mooterus XD which I still find hysterically funny. XD So many wonderful ones, plus a few where the designers should have showed their "idea" to some young boys -- if they break out in giggles and snickers, it's probably not that great of an idea... Oh, and he has a lot of matching caps too.
I feel kinda bad for Flower though. He's in a tough spot, and he is such a sweetheart. Vegas treated him shabbily and Chicago was in a meltdown, so... ::shrugs::
You should also check out THG's career videos and history videos as well. He's Canadian, so hockey is in his DNA. :)
I thought I caught a bit of Canadian in his vowels, but he's not as deeply into the tonal Canadian accent as others I've met in the past. Still, yes. To be Canadian is to love ice hockey - isn't in their Constitution or something - LOL???
