Fandom Snowflake Day 2

I did most of this yesterday but here it is again:

I dabble in writing. Mostly, I try to write and usually end up with multiple rewrites that are never finished, so there is that. My 'author name' is laSamtyr @ AO3 and Alquien @ SWG and Faerie. For a variety of reasons, I keep my rl and fan life as separate as possible.

I write mostly in Tolkien fandom but I have also written in a few others as well (see AO3 for full list.) A lot of my older work was lost when various sites went down. They might still exist on old hd's but I have yet to rescue them. I have not left the Tolkien fandom but RL took a very bad turn late this year, and I cannot write Tolkien in such a mood. Recently, I have been experimenting with rarepairs in men's hockey RPF, so we shall see what happens.

Some of my favorite fic is Hockey rarepairs. :-) (And I wrote some hockey were-turtle fic back in the day...)

If your old stuff is at OEAM, it's not lost... it's coming to Ao3 eventually when they get it all done.

No, it was more my older XF stuff, plus a few Highlander things. And BBMt... :'(
