Oct. 9th, 2006 10:20 pmI broke down and took LeeAnn to the vet, so that he could give her some flea stuff. Poor little thing has been going almost nuts scratching; flea baths didn't work much and the whole bath thing stresses her out. Her coat is so dense that it takes forever to get her wet enough to lather up, although she dries pretty fast. But the weather has gotten super-cold now and I don't want her to catch a chill. So off we go to the vet, which she didn't like *at all* but she sure loved the ride. When I lifted her on the table, she tried to melt into it as usual. When she learned there was no giant needle, she was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure what the stuff was, Frontline I think but it sure works fast and best of all, it will last for three months. So now she is scratching only a little which should help her relax. I should have gone sooner but most of the time the flea stuff cost over $50 plus visit but this time it only cost $12 plus visit. (As for myself, I feel ok but still tired.)
