So That Happened

First of all, I had a great Thanksgiving. I spent it part of it at the local church, which held Thanksgiving dinner at 5pm. It was very nice though quite small.

I also had several calls from various cousins, which is always nice. I do love talking to them, though I miss actual letters. The problem is that the cell phone reception here is fair at best, especially when inside the house. So -- you guessed it -- I ended up talking outside most of the time. Which would have been fine, if the weather had been decent. It wasn't. Instead, the weather was damp and misty and cool. And sure enough, I ended up with a cold. (Which I still have, btw. Ick.)

I did indulge in a bit of specific shopping on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, though I spent very little.

I thought about going to a movie but in the end, I chose not to. Especially now that I already have a cold. Ah well.

Now you know why I haven't posted much the last few days and I haven't responded to people as I should. But I feel better and I will be starting on cards very soon.

Glad you're feeling better... I too caught a cold, thankfully *after* Thanksgiving weekend was finished. But I've had a sore throat for a couple of days now. I'm crossing all fingers and toes it doesn't turn to bronchitis again.
