Windy Night

So how windy is it? Let's take a look... shall we?



This is the roof from a local bar, the Sit N Bull in Giltner Ne, which is only about a 15 minute drive from here. That's right; the wind blew the whole freakin roof right off! =(

Wow. We had some high winds too, but nothing approaching those speeds! I take it no snow, though?

We got just enough snow to cover the ground; probably less than 1". The snow seemed to stall over Denver -- we seemed to get more wind than anything. I know some of those gusts had to be over 50 mph. :/

Wow! There's nothing like a good spring storm rolling through the Plains. I hope nobody was harmed by the winds.

My friend in the gym just had her son drive up here yesterday. He lives in Lincoln and, of course, drove through the worst of the snowstorm to get here so that he could spend Easter with her. One day more to wait would probably have been the wiser decision ... just saying - LOL. What a boy!

It really was, for just a "straight" wind (i.e., no tornado activity detected.)
