Regarding the CA: CW trailer during SB L? Uh... no. I'm giving this movie a pass because I simply cannot deal with that kind of darkness, etc. DURING A FREAKIN' ELECTION YEAR!! WTF, Marvel? I mean seriously, WTF!


Is it too late to ask Loki to come back? Please?

I'll watch it, probably multiple times I'm sure, but I tell you, watching that trailer was rough. It hit me far harder than I expected. It's one thing seeing the Civil War storyline in comic book form, but another thing entirely to see it on screen with "real" people.

*sigh* Sebastian Stan said a while back that this one will hurt, a lot, and I'm starting to see why he said that. (But, full disclosure, there's a not-insubstantial part of me that's truly excited to see this from a strictly art-appreciation standpoint, because I have a feeling this will finally be Seb Stan's big breakout role. There was such a buzz about how well he portrayed Bucky in CA:TWS... I'm hopeful that will be nothing compared with how his turn as Bucky in CA:CW will be received.)

I also console myself with knowing how the comic version plays out... it's not *all* horrible, as much as it seems at times.

But short-erm, yeah, this is going to bite, and for me, it'll be Deadpool to the rescue for now (sorry, never been much of a fan of Loki other than appreciating him as a fascinating character and Tom H. as a masterful actor). I told hubby that I'm going to NEED Deadpool this weekend so I can start to recover!

I'm also very much looking forward to more Sebastian Stan as Bucky. One of the hardest things about being Captain America, I think, is that everything and everyone he knew is dead and gone. Their relationship may be different now, but he *does* have Bucky.

The last couple of years, I've drastically reduced the number of movies I'm seeing in the theater. Part of it has been the oil boom here, causing a huge money crunch for me, and needing to save every penny just to pay my criminally inflated rent. Another part is that I'm just not interested in seeing a lot of the movies coming out these days. Marvel movies have been the few bright lights in a dim world for me.

I'm going to see it. The story is dark and has been for some time... Ultron was dark, CA: WS was dark.

I'm going to see it. I'm definitely scared about how it'll turn out, but yeah, I want to see it.

Also, Loki doesn't even look to be back or only playing a small role in Thor 3, according to the rumors I've seen. :\
