:D This reminds me of school, we had to do this (on a simpler level, just two tunes at a time) for a musical exam in my music 'honours' course (or however this can be explained in English; in our system, you have, for the two last years before the Abitur, various regular courses and two special/intense/honours course with a relatively high level. I took maths and music, and for the latter we also had a lot of practical exams, including stuff like this.)
