Rainy Monday

Today was pretty good. A friend who owed me money paid it back (it wasn't too much and not worth going to court over) so when I went to Hastings, I did some serious grocery shopping. Not too bad; I saved bigtime at Russ's, enough that I saved more than I paid to top off the gas tank. So I was *very* happy about that! :)

Thr dr. appointment went ok. Lab results won't show up for a few days but I'm not worried about it.

I stopped to see my aunt and uncle and yakked for awhile. She wants me to come up there on Saturday but I'm not sure what I'll be doing yet. No wonder my plans for a mini-vacation fell through--Lyn must have yapped to the "family" so that once my aunt got wind of it, she could jinx me. Any other plans I make are going to be strictly private. Actually, that was my second idea, so in some ways I don't really care. (What I *really* wanted to do was make it to VanCity in October but that isn't going to happen either. Feh.)

Oh yeah, the dvds showed up! Now if I can just figure out how to watch them since the sound is still messed up on the tv...
