la_samtyrI cashed the check after I discovered my bank wouldn't honor it for ten days after it was deposited, because it was written on a strange bank and they didn't recognise the name. So, it was into Hastings to cash it (plus a quick lunch). Then I stopped and talked to my aunt for a few minutes and came on home (depositing the cash at the drive-up window). Now the checks I have out are *mostly* covered for a few days at least. I wish I had dared fill up the gas tank; gas is averaging $2.50/gallon in Hastings--one *good* thing to come out of the upcoming election mess.
Finished a load of laundry earlier and now it's time for supper. Back later.
