Awake Again

I *was* asleep. Why am I awake now? Two reasons: the cat and the dog. We humans have a fondness for complicated pets, namely socially interactive predators of competeing species. In other words, they tend to be jealous of each other. Each want to be "first" with me and this is accomplished by attempting to glue themselves as closely as they can to me and then "intimidate" the other one out of top position. Having 4-8 lbs. of fur beings bouncing up and down on my stomach (also back, legs, arms, head) is not conductive to rest of any sort. Hopefully they will decide to simmer down now so that I can try and sleep again. Id only my neck and shoulders didn't hurt so much. :/
