What Not To Watch

Yeah, I just watched the ep of the 1938 Jamestown RI hurricane on History Channel. Along w/other mega-disasters in waiting, such as the giant volcano under Yellowstone, the assorted tsunamis that are bound to hit one (or both) of the Coasts sooner or later, the New Madrid fault that is underneath the Mississippi River and is "weird" since it doesn't appear conform to the current plate techtonic theory, the fact that if Rainier blows goodbye Seattle, and how the Hayward fault is a sleeper with even more disaster potential than San Andreas and the '06 SF quake (although using current computer disaster models and relevant data, SF is more likely to burn than anything), plus a couple of *really* interesting fault lines under NYC---let's see, what else... Oh yeah, I seem to always watch this sort of thing on tv, no wonder I can't sleep. So, being already awake, I go and pick a nice relaxing movie to vegg out on (hello JG in "The Day After Tomorrow") which wakes me up even more. Hint: watching things like that on tv does not cure insomnia for some reason.
