i'm so sorry. i haven't been on LJ much lately, and when i have been it's just been rush/rush. i didn't see your other posts and i'm so sorry i haven't been able to offer you sympathies sooner. as you said, kind words help in situations like these, when nothing can be done and the only comfort is knowing people know and care about what you are going through. i have 8 dogs and four cats, but none of the dogs and cats i moved into my house with 15 years ago. we've had tragic losses and sweetly sad losses, but they all hurt, and nothing can really fix it. time heals it, like they say, but you're always left with a mark. i choose to treasure my marks, because i always treasure the ones gone on. i think that's what you'll do too. as much as you loved LeeAnn, you'll always have a spot for her in your heart, and that's the way it should be.
