Another Long Day

Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post about my little dog LeeAnn. Your words mean a lot, believe me.

LeeAnn has been in a "holding pattern" since Saturday morning, doing just "fair at best."

This morning she was about the same; however, this afternoon I had some errands that *had* to be done and thanks to the road work on Hwy. 6, it took longer to drive. By the time I got back, she seemed to have gotten weaker.

Now she is doing "poorly." I have a feeling that time is running out too fast. :(


There is a lot of stuff that I need to be doing but I am just letting it slide. The biggest thing is that I have a story that is nearly due but I am simply not able to write so I don't know what will happen there.

We went through this two months ago with Paddy. I don't have anything useful to say, just that I'm thinking of you and her. Don't worry about the story, post it when you're ready to be creative again. Everyone will understand.

Is the story an exchange story, perhaps? If you can, you could let the moderators know now that you might be going to have trouble. If even that feels like too much right now, you can always explain later.

These things are so hard to predict. When our cat suffered his first stroke, it took him some time to become somewhat normal. He had good months and bad moments. Just like you, we decided together with the vet to give him meds that would improve his quality of life as long as we could. And I cherish those extra months still. Take your time, drink in the moments with Paddy, writing can wait. *hugs*
