19. You get to save one character from dying. What would they do instead?
Finwë lives (perhaps he's somewhat crippled as a result of Melkor's attack) and somehow manages to get his act together and brokers a genuine peace between Fëanor and Fingolfin. Although that might be impossible since he just spent the last ten years enabling Fëanor's ego and sense of ill-use by everyone but Daddy -- and of course, his own sons... :/

As for the meme - how about question #24? (In truth, though I can't quite see it, I'd rather have the Silm as a dramatic musical with big set pieces than a movie a la the recent Hobbit movies.)

Oh wow, that's really tough. Let's see now... the easy answer would be the Noldolantë but I have no idea how to write such a thing. So I will go with "The Wedding of Finwë and Míriel" and use Mozart's Flute and Harp Concerto in C Major, K. 299 for their background (thank you YouTube. :)
