(He's a minister and happily married for almost forty years now. So I have no regrets to speak of since we clearly weren't meant to be a couple. Friends, yes. Couple, no. Ah well.)

Your first love reminds me of my last fiancee (the one I had before my DH). We met up again several years ago. He's been happily married for more than 30 years now and we're good friends now, keeping in touch through Facebook and rare face-to-face meetings when his work pulls him through town.
