Snagged from my flist and thought it would be perfect to post today (International Day of Fanworks):

So reblog this if I can pop into your box and ask you questions about writing (You can probably make a version for art, too). And you can ask them to me if you really want to.

1. Which is your favorite of the fics you've written for X fandom?
2. Favorite piece overall?
3. Which was the hardest to write, in terms of plot?
4. Which has the most "you" in it, however you'd define that?
5. What is an image/set of images that you're particularly proud of?
6. Idea that you always wanted to write but could never make work?
7. Least favorite plot point/chapter/moment?
8. Favorite plot point/chapter/moment?
9. Favorite character to write?
10. Favorite line or lines of dialogue that you've written
11. If I'm showing off just one of your pieces to someone, which one should it be?
12. What WIPs do you have going now? Are you excited about them?
13. Are there any things that might have happened in any of your stories, but you changed them at the last minute? (So-and-so dies, they don't actually kiss, main character has long extended ballet-based dream sequence, etc.)
14. Would you want to write canon for any of your fandoms (like be hired by showrunner to do an episode)? Which one?
15. Does font matter to you when you're writing a draft?
16. 3 favorite comments ever received on fanfic.
17. Any mean comments? How'd you deal with it? Who laid the smackdown?
18. If you could go back and revise one of your older stories, which would it be?
19. Do you make up scenes at work/on the bus/at the gym? Who are the characters that pop up the most? Do you write them down?
20. Go nuts, and talk about writing.

2. Favorite piece overall?
I honestly don't have a favorite. I'm proud of all my babies. :)

11. If I'm showing off just one of your pieces to someone, which one should it be?
That would depend on who the person is and what they like. I like to think I have a nice variety of fics so hopefully you could find something they'd enjoy.

14. Would you want to write canon for any of your fandoms (like be hired by showrunner to do an episode)? Which one?
Would I! You Bet! Seriously, I would have loved to adapt "The Hobbit" films because as much as I love them, there's a lot more that (a) didn't need to be put in and (b) shouldn't have been left out. But more on that another time.

MCU: More Loki! More! More! Seriously, I can understand that they don't want to over-use him but I really hope he'll show up as often as possible. Ehehehehehe.

As for tv shows/series: I would have loved to get my hands on the old XFiles series and do a few eps there. Again, I could think of almost a dozen ways eps could have been done and/or written that would have made the show stronger, instead of devolving into the mess that it became.

The White Queen: In this case, I would have argued very strongly for a second season, perhaps even a third. There was more than enough material (and of course, with the re-discovery of Richard III) that as far as I can tell, the viewers/fanbase would have stayed on.

Well, I would certainly watch all the MCU films if he was in them :)

Thank you, Sam!

After Hall H, I think Marvel had their eyes opened to Loki's real potential. [g]

9. Favorite character to write?
It depends on who I can 'hear' or 'see' most easily. If I can't do that, I can't write them. Right now I probably have an easier time writing elves though.

12. What WIPs do you have going now? Are you excited about them?
I always have WIPs, lol! Usually far too many than is wise though... :/ My problem is getting thrown out of the mood -- with RL it happens way too often.

19. Do you make up scenes at work/on the bus/at the gym? Who are the characters that pop up the most? Do you write them down?
Scenes can come to me anytime, anywhere. A lot of times they come while I am relaxing over coffee at the local coffee shop because (a) it's easy to be ignored there and (b) the other people there usually understand about writing and know better than to interrupt and ask questions. As for writing them down, I still like to use pen and paper. There's something relaxing about it. Though I must say I love my computer because it is so much easier to write, and to write fast, on them. (Plus spell- and grammar-check are big pluses. :) As for who the characters are, again, it all depends on who I can hear/see.

I don't think I have three favorites because I love all comments, even if they are just "I really liked this" or sometimes just a smiley face. (Even concrit is good, as long as it really *is* concrit and not flames. If it's flames, I usually just shake my head and shrug it off.)
