I Hate Mondays
Aug. 21st, 2006 09:20 pmThis is such a *long* day. Went over to CC for a paper and yay, discovered a potential job opening. Scut work but at least it's *somewhat* closer than most (since there are no jobs at all here in town). Not looking forward to it but if I can even get a little bit of money ahead, it'll be worth it. I would stll be ok if it hadn't been for the damned $358 house insurance payment that came due this month.
I wish I dared to have a roommate but that's out of the question since the ex-from-hell would no doubt manage to con his way inside no matter what I said. Y'see, it would be karmic payback. The one time I ever had a roommate, she had a boyfriend and they were always breaking up. She'd throw him out, saying to me: *do not* let him in. So, I'd come home and he'd be waiting to get in, saying they'd made up. I'd say I was sorry but he couldn't come inside. Usually by the next morning, I'd come out of my room and there they'd be, all lovey-dovey. This went on for about two months,I guess. Finally I just ignored her when she said he wasn't allowed in anymore. And yup, that's when I learned what a lying theif he was and what a worthless double-crossing bitch she was. Feh. I learned a good lesson too late--never ever *ever* have a roommate. I was happy in the place I had been originally, if only they would have turned on the heat. I damn near fuckin' *froze* that winter. So I went to look for a roommate and thus began my slide into hell. ::SIGH:: If only I had been smart and moved out of state like I had planned... but that's another story for another day.
