I'm not going to be able to see it unless I get lucky and the clouds break. To add insult to injury, it may very well be snowing. (Our high yesterday was 84!)
There's actually no guarantee for color. It depends on how far the moon is into the earth's shadow and how clear the earth's atmosphere is (volcano eruptions, etc.).
Edited to add: it's really only visible for North and South America.
The eclipse color change (there will be one, but no guarantee of it being blood-colored, which is what I tried and failed to say earlier) won't start until shortly after 3 am Eastern. I'd planned on setting my alarm for it. :(
