Today's News and Weather Report
Mar. 10th, 2014 06:12 pmOMG it was *gorgeous* outside today! Just simply beautiful! Alas, the weather will change all too soon. :(
In other news, gas is $3.50/gal now! Yikes! =( That made me unhappy. so I went back home to do some light yard work and listen to some old Springsteen tapes on my ancient tape player/radio so I could remember the days of cheap gas and so much more freedom to just "enjoy", for lack of a better term. Shouldn't I be too young to be this old and/or nostalgic?

Date: 2014-03-12 08:20 pm (UTC)I think they were quite fun for me. The 90's were more awful!

Date: 2014-03-12 07:29 pm (UTC)There is a part of me that hates relying on cars so much. And there is no such thing as carpooling either, more's the pity. I would love to have mass transit as an option. But that will never happen out here though. :(
The strange thing is that both bus and train service were being phased out just as I entered jr. high. I loved trains. ::wistful sigh::
