Day One


In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.



"Birthday Boy" (AO3)
This is one of my earliest fics, written back in my XFiles days and features a very young Alex Krycek.

One of my earliest fandom sibs, K., was quite pleased with it -- and told me so. Since she was a former editor, I knew it must be good. It's something of a Christmas/holiday fic too.

"Thermae" (AO3)
An LotR fic about the founding of Imladris.

This is one fic that came to me in a flash, quite literally; even though it's quite short I'd like to explore it further one day.

"Morning Yearning" (AO3 & Faerie)
Elven babies can cause many complications when they are discovered. It would be much easier if they were simply found under cabbage leaves.

This was a lot of fun to write and it's probably one of my better ones too.

"Meleth Naegra" (Faerie)
This is probably the one I am best known for. It was a gift fic for Esteliel and is set in her "Anestel/CE" 'verse. It's very dark and there is mpreg; if you decide to read this, *please* heed the warnings.

You are definitely famous to me for Meleth Naegra, even though I cry each time I read it.

It was probably one of the hardest fics I've ever had to write. It wanted to be written in that fashion though, and I had to go with what my Muse demanded.
