Meet My New Pretty!

My new kitchen cabinet arrived today and I am just thrilled! :) Since my kitchen is very small and my counter space is minimal at best, I have been looking for something like this since... well, not forever but a very long time, believe me!

The pic below was taken by the store that sold it; I need to find my camera, charge it, take pics and then figure out how to upload the pics, lol.



It's an antique and yes, I blew all of my holiday/birthday $$$ and part of my travel $$$ for the next year or so to get it. (Also, I won't be getting cable tv again since I'd been thinking about doing that before I saw the cabinet. Oh well.) It's a lot like the one my grandma used to have. Not exact mind you, but close. I've been looking for something similar but apparently they don't make anything even close to it anymore. Or if they do, I haven't found any. Well, not anything that looked decent and/or didn't cost half a fortune in shipping. I just need to get a few wood screws to anchor the top down a little better.

I've already started putting things away and it's made a huge difference in my counter space. Yes! :D

Ok, I am off to play in the kitchen some more. Ttyl!

I feel for you, I really do. Having to fight for every possible inch of counter space is definitely Not Fun.
