Oh, I do love this one. She was a remarkable woman with a rare talent to grasp the hearts of the people's imaginations. It is horrible to contemplate what might have happened if Anne Sullivan had not been called in to help her and had not managed to break through her external/internal isolation. What a waste that would have been for all of us...
