My Sadie doesn't do this, exactly. What she does is get up on the back of my desk chair, climb over my shoulder and stand on my chest (blocking my view of the monitor, of course) demanding pets and scritches. If I deliver on those, she'll settle down there, tucking on paw inside my bra for support, and fall asleep.
We aren't supposed to write when cats are "with" us. We're supposed to worship them. They give us no choice. Two to three thousand years ago, the Egyptians made cats gods. They haven't forgotten, and refuse to let us forget either.
