This Morning

la_samtyrAlready went to get some watermelon and canteloupe, also some bell peppers. That pretty much clobbered my food budget but oh well. At least I don't have to cook anything today and get the kitchen all hot. *sigh* Wish I could get the ceiling fan I bought for it (kitchen) installed. As it is, I wish I could remember where those other damn box fans are--they gotta be around here someplace. It would be a help for sure. LeeAnn is doing ok, yakky as always but also stretching full length on any cool surface she can find.
The kittens are doing fine. They are outside, which is moderately cooler than in the house. As long as it's shady and they have water, they should do ok. Otherwise the porch is way too hot for them. Mama Mulanne has gone into full hunting mode, bringing her babies all kinds of food. Sheeesh! I never realised what a hunter she really was until now. *ahem* If I turn the kittens loose w/her, they will probably decimate the local bird and squirrel population. Ulp! :/
