Today's News and Weather Report
Feb. 9th, 2013 03:17 pmWell, the weather is kind-of nice. Not as nice as I had hoped but not as bead as I feared.
I had planned to run errands today but I woke up with a bad stomach. It had to have been one of two things I ate yesterday: either the 2% milk on my cereal or some spicy rice that I had and wanted to use up -- or maybe it was a combination of both. Either way, I feel rotten. I'm pretty sure it's only food and not flu because I know what the flu feels like and this ain't it. (I'm currently on a 'diet' of crackers and water so I can keep up my med schedule. Meh.) I've spent most of the day in bed. My oldest kitteh is very annoyed with the new sleeping arrangement because the bed is supposed to be *hers* during the day. Sorry sweetie, Mama needs it too.
What really sucks is that one of the local theatres got Les Mis back for a short time and I planned to go today -- and that won't happen today or tomorrow either (since tomorrow is supposed to be snotty weather. Of course.) And since they only open at 7pm during the week... and so it goes. I guess I am destined to not see Les Mis, so it might just win big at the Oscars after all. We'll see.
My little dog had the clip n chip done last Wednesday and is recovering nicely. His official name is 'Nazgul' (my apologies for skipping the accent) and he still has the shrillest voice around. He's been very nice about me being sick though -- he crawls under the covers and presses against the small of my back -- which is very sweet actually. And highly recommended. [g] I still usually call him 'little man' though.
Ok, it is about time for me to go and lie down again. Later!

Date: 2013-02-09 10:01 pm (UTC)My dog does the same as your little dog - she snuggles into the small of my back and when I turn over in my sleep she gets up and goes round to the other side.
Left over rice can grow tons of bacteria overnight - even if kept in the fridge immediately after cooking. It could be that.
*hugs*
