5 Things I'm Thankful For:

Ok, you know the rules. Ask for a letter if you want to play.

engarian gave me the letter 'M', so her goes:

1. Music: As you may have noticed, I love music. Almost all music, tbh. Right now I've gone back to my roots, so to speak and I have started listening to a lot of folk and classical music again.

2. Movies: Probably my second love, though music and movies basically tie for this spot. What movies do I like? Mostly older movies: swashbucklers, film noir, old silent films, you name it. (As you can tell, it tends to carry over in my current faves.

3. Maitimo: I seem to write him an awful lot, though I don't think he's too happy with the plots I seem to come up with for him -- probably because his brother Makalaurë usually gets involved too.[vbeg]

4. "The Scottish Play": Since I was part of the backstage crew on this while in college, I can't actually write or 'say' the name but you all know which one I mean right? Right. This is one of the first stories my mom ever read to me (along with the Sonnets) and I guess those early influences proved longer-lasting than any could ever imagine.

5. Money: Face it, money is a necessary evil and it's the *love* of money that is the root of all evil. So as long as I have enough to "clear the housekeeping" as it were, I'm good. (Though just a little bit more so I could travel would be very nice too.)
