The Year in Review (aka Meme Time )

la_samtyr1.) What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
Went on vacation with my cousins from Chicago (We went to their place in MI, btw. :)
2.) Did you keep your New Year's resolutions?
Eh, more or less.
3.) Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes.
4.) Did anyone close to you die?
Yes. I lost K., one of my oldest online (and rl as well) friends in late September/early October. Due to HIPPA laws, I have been unable to find out very much of what really happened though. But if I get a decent Rapid Refund, I just might hire a PI to find out more.
5.) Which countries did you visit?
None. But I did renew my passport, just in case I get lucky in the future.
6.) What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
That's easy -- more money and less debt.
7.) What dates from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
8.) What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Joining the Y and losing weight (though since the snowstorm a couple of weeks ago and nasty cold temps, I need to get back into a routine and *keep* that weight off.)
9.) What was your biggest failure of the year?
Not writing the way I should.
10.) Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope.
11.) What was the best thing you bought?
The Y membership.
12.) Where did most of your money go?
IDEK. >.<
13.) Whose behaviour merited celebration?
The furkids. :)
14.) Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
My computers. :p
15.) What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Traveling again!
16.) What song will always remind you of 2012?

i. happier or sadder?
No idea.
ii. thinner or fatter?
No idea.
iii. richer or poorer?
Well, I know I managed to pay off some major debt but I can't say that it made me richer.
18.) What do you wish you'd done more of?
Writing and finishing things.
19.) What do you wish you'd done less of?
Eating, lol!
20.) How did you spend Christmas?
It was very quiet.
21.) Did you fall in love in 2012?
Nope.

N/A
23.) Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't have the energy to waste on hating people.

I got rid of my cable (and by extension, tv in general) but I loved watching Mythbusters.)

"Flying Cloud" by David W. Shaw
26.) What was your favourite film of this year?

27.) What was your greatest musical discovery?
More like 're-discovering' some of the singers I had missed hearing the first time around.

I have un-birthdays, so I am no longer sure just how old I am. XD
