Ya-who Mail Hacking

It seems that a lot of people with Y mail accounts are being hacked. I don't think I have been but just in case, I am changing my password. If you are getting any emails from me -- or any other people on your list -- that either have no headers and/or say RE: and have a link, delete at once -- and *please* let them know.

Yes; I've been doing this. I don't trust RE: emails anyhow, as all the genuine ones have a preface of something more, but if I was tired or not concentrating I *might* click.

Is there any way of knowing your account was hacked? I just checked my "Sent" folder, and I see nothing to indicate my email was used.

Oh dear, is it just Tolkien fans with Yahoo accounts or all Yahoo users? if the former, I wonder if it has to do with any of the fansites.

It's not technically hacking but they clone your emial and use it... so you'd not see anything sent from you. Oddly enough, changing a password seems to most of the time.
