HBO was scrambling to apologize after Game of Thrones producers admitted to using a George W. Bush mask as a prop head on a stake. The producers maintain that they used masks that were convenient, and their choice was not meant to reflect personal political beliefs.

I'm... not really believing it. Someone surely would've said "Dude, don't use George Bush, what if someone recognises him?" - if it had only been a matter of convenience, that should've disqualified that one.

I am rather fascinated by the fact that they have a masks of George W. Bush in the first place.

I think almost all politicians and public figures have masks made now. Which just proves people really buy anything... =/
